Glacier National Park Wedding | Logan + Eric – Part 2

After their wedding ceremony at the Apgar Amiptheatre on Lake McDonald, Logan and Eric’s rustic reception was held just across the way at the Glacier Outdoor Center in a beautiful field under the open sky. As we experienced at our own Montana wedding, the late-summer weather can often be unpredictable, but a little rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Hands were warmed ’round the bonfire, s’mores were toasted all melty-hot, and when the dinner bell rang, everyone noshed on succulent pulled BBQ pork. Mm-mmh!

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Logan and Eric had huckleberry pies, homemade by a friend of the family. There really is nothing like a Montana huckleberry, and these were amazing! Logan’s dad said a party wasn’t a party without the family recipe carrot cake, so he got his own special cake and had a big ol’ slice.

Once everyone’s bellies were full, the dancing started, and I’d be hard-pressed to say if I’ve ever seen a pair of dancers as full of fun and love as Logan and Eric. As the celebration continued, guests packed the tent and danced late into the night, one smile passing into the next.

Sparrow and Log, thank you so much for letting us be a part of your wedding day and for sharing with us the common bond that is a history in Glacier. We wish you happiness and a lifetime of fond memories. Cheers!
